My Latest Passion

As an artist and a proud member of the Jewish community, there's no greater joy or creative fulfillment for me than designing Ketubot for young couples. It's more than just artwork - it's deeply personal collaboration that honors tradition, celebrates love, and brings stories to life.
Over the years, creating Ketubahs has become my life's greatest artistic passion. Each one is unique - not just because of the text or design, but because of the couples behind each one. I approach each Ketubah like a custom portrait of a relationship, filled with symbols, settings, and small details that reflect the life two people are building together.
Before I begin my sketching, I take time to sit down with the couple - sometimes over Zoom - and I ask them to tell me their story. How they met, what they love to do together, the little moments that feel the most "them." Some share favorite places they've traveled, others speak about their first date or what makes their love work. These conversations are my absolute favorite part! They remind me. that love is personal, specific, and beautifully diverse.
From there, I start weaving imagery that reflects them. A skyline from the city where they met. Their beloved dogs standing beside them, a backyard garden, a shared musical instrument, a favorite quote or even a subtle reference to a family heirloom -- all of these details become visual language of their Ketubah. It's not just a ceremonial document. It's a piece of art that belongs solely to them, rooted in tradition and blooming with their shared life.
As someone connected deeply to Judaism, this work is especially meaningful. The Ketubah is a sacred element of Jewish weddings, but it's also a timeless expression of love and commitment. To be part of that moment - to help give it visual form - is a huge privilege I never take for granted. It's where my faith and my creativity meet in the most beautiful way. Art means nothing to me if it's not meaningful. Whatever I paint, it always has a piece of my heart and you can see that in every piece.
Every Ketubah I create tells a story - not just of a wedding day, but of a relationship, a journey, and a future. And every time a couple tells me, "You captured us perfectly" I'm reminded why I do what I do.
This isn't just my profession. It's my calling.
